Farum, Denmark – 2017 – How do we use the knowledge we have about our fans to enhance their fan experience on game-day and increase loyalty when they live their daily lives? F.C. Nordsjælland asked themselves this question – and partnering up with NewC Sport became the solution to it.

Not only was digital transformation a core explanation for FCN’s remarkable 60% growth in season memberships over one year. Increasing knowledge about fans through innovative data collection methods powered by NewC allowed the club to implement storytelling and closer engagement with fans than ever.

“Partnering with NewC Sport has been instrumental in our recent achievements. Their expertise in data analytics and subscription models has allowed us to better understand and engage our fans, driving significant growth in our season ticket holders.”

Furthermore, leveraging their Right to Dream Academy stories allowed the club to further strengthen the ties with its fans. A focus on youth- and talent-development since 2006 allowed the club to establish a tight-knit fanbase. FCN furthermore excels as the Danish forerunner in women’s football development, and has since 2017 worked proactively in engaging the game for women in Denmark.

With over 50% of the club’s Super League players stemming from their youth academy, the club presents itself as internally sustainable and as a developmental forerunner to inspire many other clubs. Furthermore, their Right to Dream accommodation allows international players and domestic players from far away to engage in a FCN community and feel safe within the club.
